ACM safeguards fair competition, protect consumer interests, and regulate specific sectors. We are committed to ensuring that markets work well for all people and businesses.
Our powers
If a business does not comply with the rules, ACM can take action using enforcement tools. We will investigate first whether a business truly violates the rules.
Fines: procedure and payment
In the case of violations, ACM may impose a fine. You must pay fines on time. You can file an objection or an appeal against fines.
For consumers
On our website ACM ConsuWijzer, we inform consumers about their rights (in Dutch).
