Research methods and consultation of Market investigation into computer-controlled consumer prices in the aviation sector
In 2025, the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) conducts a market investigation into computer-controlled consumer prices. We carry out this investigation in the aviation sector. Now that the exploratory phase has been completed, ACM presents its research methods. In its research methods, ACM explains the background and the methodology of the market investigation. ACM finds it important to use insights from the sector in its investigation. That is why ACM invites businesses, scientists (including data scientists), software developers, consumers, and other stakeholders to share their opinions or suggestions.

ACM invites stakeholders to submit their opinions using this form. They can do so until 31 July 2025. ACM will take into account all input as much as possible in its research methods.
In order to ensure the process takes place in a transparent manner, ACM will publish on its website all opinions it receives from businesses and organizations. Input from consumers will not be published. Other opinions will be published in consultation with the individuals in question.
